Shot Notes

I thought to myself:

Doesn’t everyone have the cheesy ’sun through the aspen’ shot?  You don’t need one of those, it’s too ‘me too’!

Then I took it anyways, and it’s pretty damn good.  Totally unedited on this guy.

    Nathan,

You may not want to call yourself a photographer…but you should.

YAPB supports EXIF data process and output…how about sharing that info!

    Laters,

    Matt (old JL Waters crew)

    Nathan:

Thanks for the encouragement, I’m definitely enjoying taking the pictures, hopefully you’re enjoying looking at them.

I have it on some of the later pictures, realized that when I do my processing in GIMP and picasa, they were stripping off the exif data. I fixed it now, but never went back and re-uploaded the first couple pictures on the site.

In case you were curious this was shot at F/6.3, 1/160 shutter. It was shot in program mode with a +1.3 exposure bias, the green spots from the lens flare are from a UV filter. It’s a DX sensor camera (Nikon D80), so it was shot at 18mm, which is a 28mm equivalent on a 35mm camera.
